Steepest street in Seattle

Yes, we do have some pretty steep streets between 23rd and the arboretum, and one of them (Roy at 25th, 21% grade) is the STEEPEST street in Seattle (the red marker) according to this map of the steepest streets in Seattle (plotted from City information).

Right on Andrew...I used to ride my bike up it for training (when I was young and had something to train for!). Caveats being steepest paved and steepest thru. There are dead ends and non-paved (gravel) that are steeper, or at least used to be. Also I believe that the Roy section is 1 full block, as opposed to sections of street with steeper parts but less average grade. This is fun, isn't it???? Great work, happy holidays...
