Helicopter noise
Woken up this morning at about 6 AM by helicopters hovering persistently overhead?
I suspect it was news helicopters reporting on a fire in a building at 19th & Pine....
Yep, the Central District News is right on it! Check back with them, they're professionals, they'll keep you updated with video, pictures, etc!

Reported at 5:30 a.m.? This is right by my house and I walk by it every day on my way to work. As I approached the intersection today at approximately 8:10 a.m. there was one cop. Two fire trucks showed up right as I passed. Unless they were coming back for a second look that would mean the fire department has an almost 3 hour response time.
I did notice a report of an extra unit called out to the scene some hours after the original cluster of fire trucks.
The helicopters were certainly there before 6 AM. I assume there would have been TV footage had the fire been ignored......
obnoxious and over blown... having two helicopters over head ... i had to get out of bed. fearing concern of the worst woe... finding out it was just a tv crew's idea of "important" news on the go.
