My name is Tim Greeley. I am a Seattle Police Officer. I have been assigned to the Henry Sector Community Police Team for seven years. One of my first projects was the 23rd & Union. I formed a team of people that comprised of city officials, business owners and community activists. We saw a lot of successes and positive changes. Because of the positives changes over the years the "Union Street Business Association" hasn't met regularly in awhile.

Appreciate Officer Greely's efforts. But can you ask him what they are doing about the fact that shots were fired tonight - for the SECOND TIME IN THE PAST WEEK - in front of a house near 24th and Pike (yes, right in front of the exact same house where the shots were fired last week - which despite the news reports was NOT 24th and Spring)?
Is this 911 report related to the shooting?

"7 per rule" seems to be an enhanced response when violence is feared.

Interesting potential info on the "7 per rule" - but no, that would not be related - as the times don't match. The shooting at 24th and Pike was right around 10 PM. (And apparently no one was hit - despite 4-5 shots - unless it was someone who fled the scene).
Just FYI - apparently "7 per rule" means that "7 firefighters need to be on scene for the response -
typically an engine and two medical vehicles." (That's a response from someone in a chat room who said they asked SPD).
